This move induces a condition that causes all Pokémon on the field to use a random move against a random target, within the targeting capacity of the move selected (e.g., a Pokémon cannot use a self-targeting move on a different Pokémon). The distance ruling in triple battles still applies. A Pokémon will be able to use a move it knows that has been disabled if it is called up by this move's effect.

Chaos will never induce the usage of itself or any of the following moves:
Assist
Bestow
Chatter, Copycat, Covet
Destiny Bond, Doodle
Fling, Follow Me
Me First, Metronome, Mimic, Mirror Move
Nature Power
Rage Powder
Sketch, Sleep Talk, Snatch, Snore, Struggle, Switcheroo
Thief, Transform, Trick

This move also cannot be used by Copycat/Me First/Mirror Move, copied by Doodle/Mimic/Sketch, or called up via Assist/Metronome/Sleep Talk.

The effects of this move last for six turns, including turn of use. However, the effects will end prematurely if the user Faints, is switched out, or if this move is somehow used again (by any Pokémon in battle).

This move has a priority value of -7, and thus will always go after other moves used in the same turn, unless another Pokémon uses a move with equal priority, in which case move order is again determined by Speed.
