This move only works during double and triple battles, and forces opponents to target the user of this move, rather than their intended target (even if the target is on their own side, unless the move used was Acupressure or Helping Hand) for the rest of the turn. This move does not affect allies.

In triple battles, this move nominally attracts the moves of facing and adjacent foes, but will also attract the moves of non-adjacent foes, provided they use a move that can hit non-adjacent targets, such as Gust or Dragon Pulse. In cases where multiple Pokémon on the same side use Rage Powder or Follow Me, attacks will be directed to the Pokémon that performed this kind of move first. This move's effects take precedence over move-drawing Abilities like Storm_Drain, and also over the effects of Magic_Bounce and Magic Coat.

This move cannot alter the targeting of moves that hit multiple Pokémon, nor can it redirect pseudo-invulnerability moves like Fly or Sky Drop. If the user is taken into the air by Sky Drop, they will no longer draw moves, even if the moves used that turn include ones that can target airborne Pokémon.

This move has a priority of +3, and therefore will always go before attacks during the turn, unless other Pokémon use moves with a greater or equal priority. Therefore, this move can only redirect an enemy's Fake Out if the Rage Powder user can act first (via higher speed, Prankster etc.). This move can only redirect Pursuit if Pursuit's original target is not switching out on that turn.
