This move hits the target three times in a row. Unlike most multi-hit attacks, this move has an accuracy check for each hit, and if one of those hits misses the move ends immediately after. Every hit of this move can potentially be critical. This move will continue if it breaks a Substitute before the duration of the move is over. If this move activates a Focus Band, Focus Sash or the Sturdy Ability before the duration is over, subsequent hits will cause the defending Pokémon to faint (the target will be protected from all hits of this move if it used Endure however). With each hit, this move can also trigger any items whose effects may trigger upon striking (e.g. King's Rock). Bide, Mirror Coat, Metal Burst and the Life Orb will only acknowledge the first hit of this move.
This move also has a 30% chance of raising the user's Special Attack stat by one stage, and this chance may occur for every successful hit.

In a triple battle, this move may target anyone facing or adjacent to the user.

This move is the signature move of Neptidal, and is not available for use in other suggestions' movelists.
