This move raises the target into the air, making them immune to Ground-type moves, Spikes, Toxic Spikes, and Arena Trap. However, all other moves, except one-hit knockout moves, hit the target regardless of move accuracy or of any accuracy/evasion modifiers applied to the user/target. This effect lasts for three turns.
The effect of Telekinesis is canceled when Gravity is used, and Telekinesis will fail if Gravity is already in effect. This move also cannot lift targets rooted to the ground by Ingrain or Root Plant. The effect of the Iron Ball item also overrides the effect of Telekinesis.
In a triple battle, this move may target anyone facing or adjacent to the user.
