The base power of this move is doubled if the user is not holding an item when this move is selected for use. If the user is holding a Flying Gem and uses this move, the Gem's boosting effect (base power x 1.5) occurs and the item is consumed before this move checks whether the user has an item or not, effectively tripling this move's base power.
In a triple battle, this move may target anyone other than the user. |
