This move maxes out the user's Attack stat (i.e., a 12-stage boost, to counter any stage drops it may have suffered). However, the user is restricted to using Physical moves from thereon, and all successful hits acquire a recoil effect equal to 50% of the damage dealt to the target (this effect supersedes the recoil inherent to moves that possess it).
These effects last for three turns or until the user is switched out. The stage boosts for the user's Attack stat are also reset to zero, instead of to the stage they were before using this move. |
