This move will automatically end the battle (if wild) or force the target to retreat and be switched with the next non-fainted Pokémon in line (if a Trainer battle) after inflicting damage to the target. This move will fail to end the battle/force a switch if the target is somehow unable to retreat from battle (through abilities, moves or lack of replacements) or is behind a Substitute.
This move has a priority of -6, and therefore will always go after other moves during the turn, unless another Pokémon uses a move with a lesser or equal (in which case move order is determined by Speed) priority. In a triple battle, this move may target anyone facing or adjacent to the user. |
