Categories: Affects the WeatherThis Pokémon's heat-based powers intensify the sun's rays wherever it appears. The intense sunlight can be dispelled by other weather moves (however Sunny Day cannot be used when Drought is active), but is otherwise permanent until the battle ends, even if the originator is switched out or faints. If a Pokémon with Drought is sent out in the same turn as another Pokémon whose Ability affects the weather (including Air_Lock and Cloud_Nine), the slower Pokémon's Ability will override the faster Pokémon's Ability.
The Pokémon turns the sunlight harsh if it is in battle.
