This move protects all Pokémon on the user's side of the field from enemy attacks that naturally have a priority higher than zero (e.g. Quick Attack, Aqua Jet), but does not block moves that have temporarily been given +1 priority through the Prankster ability. The only other exception is the move Feint, which will hit through Quick Guard and nullify its effects.
Using Quick Guard, Wide Guard, Detect, Protect, or Endure consecutively decreases the chance of successfully using these moves by 50% for every successful use. This move has a priority of +3, and therefore will always go before attacks during the turn, unless the target uses a move with a greater or equal (in which case move order is determined by Speed) priority.
